Sukhavati Retreat
Sukhavati Retreat is an exclusive six-villa property located within a timeless Hindu village by the Penet River in south Bali. Built on three distict levels and set among a hectare of virgin jungle and lasdscaped tropical gardens, the retreat offers a rare blend of luxury and intimacy with the natural environtment.
Designed to accommodate up to 14 guests, the retreat’s health and well-being oriented facilities include three salt-water swimming pools, a dining and entertainment pavilion, a health and beauty spa, and an open-air yoga and meditation bale.
Whether for a large family, a small retreat group, a wedding or special event, Sukhavati Retreat is the ideal base from which to explore the scenic and cultural wonders of Bali, the island of the gods.
Sukhavati Retreat is located in the small Hindu village of Bebengan (north-west part of Canggu area) and lies on a multi-level topography of land. More than a hectare in size, the property is bordered by tropical jungle and the Penet river. Beautiful Mt. Batukaru is clearly visible from the top level of the retreat.
Sukhavati Retreat is consist of 6 bedroom in 6 separate pavilion, 1 building for living room, dining room and library room, 1 building for kitchen, 1 building for daybed (or massage room), 1 special building for yoga, 1 another building for gallery and jacuzzy.
The bedroom categorized into 2 luxury villas with private pools and secluded escapes, 3 deluxe villas with landscaped outdoor bathrooms, and 1 standard villa with indoor batroom. All villas contain hot and cold water, air conditioning, TV, DVD, CD player, room safes and minibar.
All compound of the retreat could accommodate 14 people (6 villas with king-sized double beds and two extra single beds).

We’ve been fortunate to visit many lovely hotels and resorts around the world, but this ranks among the best.
From the stunning view of the staircase, to the elegance and beauty of the villas, the gardens, the excellent food and above all the attentive and considerate staff, Sukhavati Retreat is faultless.
We particularly enjoyed the bicycle tour of the countryside provide by Denny, the yoga classes at dawn, and the relaxing massage therapies. Definitely five-star and we will be back.

Absolute luxury! Sukhavati is Utopia.
Tucked away in a small village, away from the hustle and bustle, it is an idyllic retreat with all of the comforts you can imagine. Shopping and restaurants aren’t far away, but far enough to allow you to totally relax. And the staff, so friendly yet so professional.

The Sukhavati Retreat is a truly magical place, and our stay here has been the highlight of our stay in Bali. The whole staff is incredibly warm and friendly, with the most beautiful smiles. They all just seem to glow from whitin, we were very fortunate to be here during Nyepi and participate in the festivities. Eka and Denny arranged for us to watch the town parade of Ogoh-Ogoh. It was a very special evening we’ll the rest of our lives. The food was spectacular and the villas and the grounds breathtalking, in other words everything was simply perfect.
